Founded in 2021, Little House was designed to embody all that is beautiful and unique while also providing a warm and welcoming space for visitors. Danielle wants everyone that enters to feel as welcome as they would in their own friend's home - to feel loved while also partaking in some retail therapy. Bringing with her over twenty years of experience in retail and many lessons learned from working in the fashion industry, the goal of Little House is to be a place that makes women feel empowered by buying beautiful things for themselves and their homes. Nothing like leaving a shop with something that makes you feel good.
A lifelong New Yorker.
Danielle Lissance has always favored clean, colorful styling with a dynamic mix of both vintage and modern. With over twenty years of experience in retail, Danielle finally decided it was time to venture out on her own and set up shoppe in her beloved Rivertowns. Danielle has a keen eye and crisp sense of style - knowing exactly when and how to complete an outfit and make someone feel beautiful and confident. Her home design style perfectly complements her personal style embracing the beauty of light filled rooms, colorful textiles, natural elements, earthy textures, mod antiques, Lucite and all metals. Inspired by her style icon, her mother Rosemary who passed away in 1984, Danielle grew up dissecting pictures of her and taking note of what she was wearing, her accessories, her clothing and the way she decorated their homes. A classic and timeless beauty, her mother perfectly exemplified what it meant to be fun and stylish during the 1970's. Like her mother, Danielle fell in love with this time period and always tries to bring through elements of this era in her style today.
Danielle currently lives in Tarrytown, New York with her husband Dan and their three children. As a resident of the Rivertowns herself, Danielle and her family have fallen in love with the charm and uniqueness of this special area and are thrilled to share this excitement with members of this eclectic community
